The surroundings are an exquisite area for trekking and hiking in all their forms : many signposted walking tours are offered to the hikers, the paths and tracks of Brassac lend themselves admirably to horse-trekking the mountain bike-lovers cross the forest as they please and for car or motorcycle discovering itinaries are available. (Possibility to hire bikes). The extended woods and forests are overflowing with mushrooms, a true delight for every gourmet. The rivers : the Tarn, Agout, Dadou and the various lakes : Lac de la Raviège, St Peyres, Laouzas, remain unspoiled in the passing of time. They offer various watersport activities such as : swimming, canoeing, kayaking, surfing.

Wild and full of fish, the rivers and the lakes are very frequently visited by the angling fraternity. Golfers can satisfy their passion, golf on beautiful courses, with 9 and 18 holes, spread out over the marvelous Tarn region which offers spectacular views. The garden of the convent is a real paradise for children. In the neighbourhood they can walk with a donkey or on a pony, fish, swim or discover the secrets of making goat's cheese or honey. The medieval village of Hautpoul houses the "Wood and Toy centre".
